About Fackle

Fackle is a search engine for finding webpages, images, videos, and people. Fackle also has other features like social networking, a public polling system, video conferencing, and email. Fackle is a non-commercial personal website that does not sell products, services, or display paid advertising.

The search engine has four main categories. "Web" is used for finding web pages that were either discovered by the Facklebot or were submitted by users of the Fackle website. "Images" and "videos" are for finding images and videos that were uploaded by users of the Fackle website. "People" is for finding registered users of the Fackle website.

Results in the "Web" category provide information about web pages. Results are listed in order based on their resemblance to the text that was typed. Results that contain matching text are shown first, followed by results that contain partially matching text. The Facklebot checks pages for updates to page information on a weekly basis.

The "Images" and "Videos" categories contain images and videos labeled with titles and descriptions. The results are listed in order based on resemblance to the title and description to the text that was typed. Images and videos can be viewed online or downloaded for offline viewing.
